Sheri's Story
My husband (Ray Wojtasek)and I live in Woods Cross. We are loving it here. Ray has 2 daughters from a previous marriage. Tory is attending the U of U this year, Sarah goes to Mueller Park Jr High. We have two beautiful daughters together. Courtney is 6 and loves kindergarten and finally lost her first tooth which she is so proud of. Cami is 3 and rules our house LOL. I worked for about 7 years at IHC but since Cami was born I have been a stay at home mom. My family and I have been going thru some troubling times. On 3/22/07 my husband was diagnoised with pancreatic cancer. He has gone thru several procedures and a major surgery and his life expectancy has gone from 6 months to where we could be talking years! ith so please email me. ***Update 6/3/07 Ray had his 1st post op PET scan. In the surgical area all looks great! No signs of tumors or cancer cells, Great news for us! He does have a 1.3 mm lesion on his liver that we will follow up on next week.*** ***Update 7-17-07 We are gonna wait until Ray's next PET scan to determine more on his liver to see if it grows or multiplies.*** ***Update 12-13-07 Ray had his recent scan done all looks great! Best Christmas present our family could ask for!!!***Update 3-19-08 this coming 3-22-08 will be my hubby''s YEAR anniversary as a cancer survivior we are SO EXCITED!****Update 4-16-08 Ray had his Scan again yesterday. We got the results back STILL NO NEW CANCER GROWTH!!! Thanks for all the prayers and love and support from you all!****
