Sheri's Story
After graduating FSC in '85 with an English degree (and music minor)my goal was to be a local band(s) music promoter. I wanted to dedicate a magazine just for them and get them all the best gigs around New England. HA! One needs money for this, so a job was inevitable. The Dept of Defense was "calling" me and I answered (as a civilian). Things were looking good, moving up in rank, etc. I even ended up marrying the General's son!!! ing the big bucks),which is where I still am today. The good news? I divorced that *&*&*&*. My girls are now 19 and 16 1/2. Unfortunately, I was recently laid off from my job at the Oncology clinic here in Lacey, WA. Never thought that would happen. I'm too old to look for work and/or to be hired!! I would love to move back home (in hopes of picking up my accent again), but it's expensive and starting over again at 46 (damn we're old)is a little scary. And I will NOT live in my parent's house!!! With that, I am certain that I will figure things out and the sooner the better!!
