Sherlie Scribner:  

Sherlie is from Mobile, Alabama. She is divorced. Her schools include Julius T. Wright School for Girls. She graduated with a BA from Baylor University. She got her Master's in Education from the University of Virginia. She received a Master's Degree and Doctorate in Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University, New York. She received a master's diploma in National Security Management from the National Defense University in Washington, DC. She retired from Fairfax County Public Schools where she taught English and ESL. She also retired from the U.S. Government Accountability Office where she served for 20 years as a program evaluator and analyst writing reports for congressional committees. She worked on defense programs, international assistance programs and early education in France and child survival programs in Guatemala and Bolivia. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Northern Virginia Community College where she teaches ESL.
