Hi, You have expressed an interest in what life has been for me since our school's 25th Graduation Party. Let see, I was 43 at the time, well much water has passed under the bridge these past 24 years. At that time I was working with my Dad at his auto body shop and my first wife and I had come through a very bad time in our relationship. We have since divorced. we have 9 grand children and 9 great grandchildren. Since that time; 1. I have owned and operated my own auto body, repair and sales business, to age 45. 2. I worked as a maintenance supervisor for a large recycling company in CT to age 46. 3. Worked for U-Haul Corp. of Western MA as Renovations Supervisor. It was at U-Haul where I seriously injured my back that required surgery. At the time I could not return to heavy work and accepted re-education; at age 48. 4. I went to Centerville, OH from MA and took a 2 year AS course in Biomedical Electronics Technology; one of the most difficult things I have accomplished. I had to get books from the library and self teach myself Algebra 1&2, Geometry, and Trigonometry in order to take the Entry Exam to college, as I needed to take Introduction to Calculus there. The courses were the same as a Physicians Assistant and an Electronics Technician as I had to understand what it was that doctors and nurses were looking for from their equipment. Graduated at age 51 with an AS Degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology. 5. Worked for Florida Hospital, Datex Ohmeda Corp., and Center For Advanced Diagnostics repairing, calibrating and installing laboratory, surgical, diagnostic, life-support and anesthesia equipment. To age 61. 6. The last position I held with CAD was the most rewarding position I had ever worked at, both monetarily and psychologically. I was well respected and appreciated there. I was in charge of the entire laboratory, equipment and facility. I was handling a huge expansion for the company at the same time. I loved what I was doing. I was on my way to help my former wife, Marlene (Nelson) Danio [as we have remained friends] with an electrical problem at her condo on September 29, 2003, when a lady from India crossed the median into my pathway and sent me to the hospital.
