Sherren's Story
Life
After 31 years as a high school English/Communications teacher at Hopewell and Somerset High Schools respectively, I had the opportunity to take an early retirement. I still serve as an adjunct English professor at Allegany College of Maryland.

I am a wife, and mother of two daughters: Lisa, an accountant, and Tara, an elementary education teacher.
I collect Duncan-Miller Glassware, and I enjoy playing the piano, reading, writing, and gourmet cooking. (I prefer eating to cooking!) I have been getting my exercise on the Youghiogheny Bike Trails near Ohiopyle.
