Sherri's Story
Has it really been 25 years? Crap, where have I been?
Well, right at the moment, I live in Justin in a house I share with my daughter and my boyfriend. She was born in Springfield, IL. We were living there after TI began laying off peeps. Some of my old friends might remember I was born in NJ, moved to Lewisville, TX in 1974. I moved to a hog farm in IL in 1992. And I moved back to TX in 2002 after my divorce. I love tats, and have 5, working on the 6th. They're addictive. I'm hanging out in clubs, listening to lots of bands that come thru Lewisville, some great, some not so great. I never thought I'd be where I am now, but I'm soooo freakin' glad I am! I've re-discovered laughter and having fun, I know the calendar says I'm 45, but I feel 25. Divorce can be a good thing!
I'd love to talk to some of my old friends, you know who you are, and re-connect. scarysnorwood at yahoo dot com. I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. My kid is the greatest thing I ever did, and she brings out the best in me. I waited a long time to have her. FYI, I am not smarter than a 5th grader. Her math homework kicks my ass!
To blow off steam, I go to the gym. It relaxes me. The treadmill is hypnotic! I discovered the smell of sweaty people and I think I like it. Something about the sound of the treadmill belt gets me. I work out a lot more ...Expand for more

If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have support, motivation, and some control to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I like my job. It's never the same thing from day to day. And I think they appreciate me.
I've learned patience from my kid, and perserverence.
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my family, then spend the rest on a house, cars and having fun.
My current age is 45. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely WRONG!.
Right now, I am a fire service coordinator for an alarm co. in Irving, but I'm always looking for a better opportunity.
My best friend would tell you I'm crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as introverted. Actually, she once described me as introverted, so I let her see the really crazy side and now she shakes her head at me a lot. I think it was the tattoos.
My style now is very casual, and funky. I love clothes shopping and shoes are my biggest bad habit.
My first job was at a daycare, where I got paid bupkis to watch other people's kids. What I remember most about it is I hated it. Did you ever notice that the words work and fun don't even have any letters in common? I think there's a reason for that.
