Sherri's Story
Scott Johnson and I just had our 38th Anniversary! We live in NC near Charlotte where the weather is milder and the taxes are lower. You get SO much house for your money here. There are lots of newer homes and gated communities. Newer roads and businesses are springing up off 85. It is getting busier, but you do not feel hemmed in. It is wide open here. In some places the water is free but within city limits you pay for it , of course.
Scott still lifts weights. He trims the tall grass whereever there is a fence line. He is amazing for someone without sight. We love the yard. Scott does the bull work, carrying all the mulch or soil, etc. I do the landscaping and lawn. We seem to be a pretty good team. We hope to visit NY this summer to visit our families.
We have no children. Just a puppy and a cat who just turned 20! So we have lots of volunteer time to devote to the witness work. Did you know that this witness work is being done the world over and that we can expect that in due time we can expect a big change for the better? I have been witnessing for 31 years. evelation 11:18. Bring it on. How nice it would be to be able to see your feet under the water at the beach again! Polution is taking its toll everywhere. The greed factor must be addressed. Of course, I look foward mostly to the day when Scott will be restored his vision. And then I look foward to when the reurrection will begin. Finally the meek will inherit the earth. Without all the evil around we can finally live as a happy united family worldwide. This should be good news for everyone who has felt pained over world conditions and human frailities.. Anyway, it is exciting for us. We have a lot to look foward to. We just need to stay busy in the work of the Lord so we keep this hope alive. it is such a relief to know that Hell is really Hades which is the grave and that it is not Dante's inferno. Heaven is where God has set up Christ as King with a select few to rule over righteous mankind. And that we will experience human perfection and get the chance to chose life unlike Adam and Eve who chose to disobeyand thus died in the long run.
