Sherri's Story
Life
After high school, I went to UTC (UT-Chattanooga) for five years and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. I went to graduate school at the University of Memphis, with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. After almost 3 years of doing clinical work, I decided I liked the research aspect better and switched to experimental psychology. g for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta about 3 years ago, and I'm still there. I get to travel some for work (I recently went to Kenya), and really love what I do (HIV/AIDS research). I also love living in Atlanta- there is a lot of fun stuff to do here- great restaurants, outdoor festivals, museums, parks, shopping, etc. I guess that's all there is to say (how do people use up all this space??), at least until the reunion!
