Sherrie's Story
What a happy surprise to see names that were once so familiar! I still go through DeKalb once in awhile, although sadly I have lost touch with the people we knew so well back then. My favorite teachers were Mr. Ebbeson, and Mrs. Penson. What nice people they were, (are?).
After many years living and working in Charleston, IL, I moved when Dad died in '94, and went North when our marriage went "south".
Since then, I have been living in first Madison, then DeKalb, (short time) now Middleton, WI since. I have a daughter, (family of 4) in TX and son, (family of 4) in now, OH, but he moves a bit, and other sibs, Pati here and John, Dianne and Mom, in FL. ve taken trips all over the country this past year to visit relatives, and we are having a birthday party July 19 -08, here for Mom, visiting, who will be 88. I have continued to ballroom dance since I came here, (It's a riot! Especially with the UW students. What FUN!). Hope this finds our classmates well and maybe find a way to connect, but I have not spent much time to see how this works.
My name is still currently Sherrie Walker on Dahlia Ct. The pictures are some fave's, Nov, 05) of me and Ben, who crawled up into my lap, my youngest grandson, (they are ALL boys), my Mom and Stepdad, Tillman Kelley who died 2 years ago today(7-15-08) Pati and her son, (10) and Jake's family.
With big LOVE,
Sherrie, or Auntie Sia, or Grandma, even. That seems funny!
