Sherrie's Story
I moved here to the state of WA a few years after graduation. I worked for Bank of America for 17 years, then quit in 1985 and went to work for the school district in order to have more time with my son who was then in the 2nd grade. I started out subbing wherever I was needed, cafeteria, teachers aide, working with the special ed children. The first permanet job opening that came up was with the cafeteria, and I have been there ever since. My son is now 23 years old, married and two children, so I am also a grandma now. I have been married for 13 years...Expand for more
to Fred Thompson, who is from here. This summer we took a trip through Yellowstone and to WY to visit Cody (my son) and his family, as he has been working there since May, putting in gas pipe lines which is what Fred did also. Cody bought a home just down from us. I really enjoy working with the kids, and have great hours and summers off. I was hoping to make it back for this class reunion, but things came up and I am not able to. I am hoping maybe the next one... Hope all of you are doing well, would love to hear how you are doing.
