Sherrie's Story
My life pretty much went the way I wanted it to and then I had a very big surprise. I attended college in Ogden, Utah at Weber State University and went into elementary education.I then married a guy from St. Louis, Missouri I met at college and we moved to St. Louis. I taught for 5 years, then stayed home for eight to raise our two daughters. Our oldest is an artist in Chicago and our youngest is an environmental scientist living in Petrolia, Calif.I went back in '90 and I have now been teaching 2nd grade for 6 years. cation and since then I completed 30 more graduate hours. I love my job! Mike and I had a good marriage. Before kids we went to Europe, on a cruise, and traveled all over the west. When I turned 50 the weirdest thing happened. I fell in love with a woman! Who knew? Not me. Mike and I are the best of friends and we did our own divorce. Right now I am living with my golden retriever, Bailey, and am still involved with that special woman. The people I hope to have contact with are my buds from Tustin, Dave Johnson and Kirk Hahn. Now I think I get why I liked having guys for best friends over girls.
