Sherrie's Story
In 1970 I married Jim Griffin and moved to Kansas. In '72 after he graduated we move back to Palmyra. Our son Chris was born in '74. We bought our 1st house in '76 in Henrietta. Jessica, our daughter was born in '78. In '88 we moved to Chandler AZ and had the house we still live in built. In '93 I graduated cum laude from ASU with a BA in education. I teach children K-5 on the autism spectrum. In '99 I was nominated for the Council for Exceptional Children's outstanding special education teacher award. pical peers on strategies to use to improve social skills, two way conversations, etc.). Data is being collected and the results will be published at the end of the study. Over the years Jim and I have travelled to Europe, cruised and visited points of interest throughout the 50 states. One vacation included swilmming with dolphins. I now sport a dolphin tatoo on my right ankle. The tat goes nicely with my pierced nose. We have had 5 shelties as pets over the years. I have shown 2 my shelties in local dog shows. Last year my mother passed away shortly before Chrsitmas. Our daughter works for Go Daddy and our son works for Wells Fargo.
