Once i graduated from Collins High, i went to Chicago State as a walk-on on the basketball Team. I left Chicago St. and went to Thornton Community college and played two years there. I graduated from TCC with an associates in arts degree and recieved a basketball scholarship to the University of North Dakota in 1986. I played there two years until 1988. I didn't graduate right away. i decided to play professional ball in Canada for two years and travel. I finally deciced to go back to school and finish my degree at the University of North Dakota. I graduated from UND in 1991 with a degree in Education and a coaching minor. I stayed at the school and was an assistant coach for two years. I recieved a call from my agent asking if i would be interested in playing professional ball again and i replied yes. I went across seas and played in Europe for five years and enjoyed traveling and meeting some interesting people. i went to Australia for one year and played.
