Life Visit me on My Space.. /tifkas.. My family moved from Mesquite to Rice,TX after my freshman year. I began working at a Gibson's store at 17, where I met my wonderful husband Robert. I married young and choose to start a family. I stayed at home and took care of our two daughters. My husband and I made the decision to raise our own children which meant one of us would stay at home. Since he had gone to college and could make a better living he worked outside the home. I was blessed to be able to be with my children as they grew up. IN 1990 my husband transfered with his company to IN. This was my first time out of TX. I opened a daycare since both our daughters were in school and would be there with me when they were at home. My husband attended a Mennonite seminary and became a Mennonite pastor. We have lived in many states but never back in TX. We now live in IN again and love it. My oldest daughter, Kristy is married to a nice young man our family knew for several years. She is working full time and going to college. I have one granddaughter who is an absolute joy to be around. Don't get to see her as much as I would like.
