Life
Hello Everyone, I thought that it was time to update my profile and say that I am still around. LOL. I still live in Elko, Nevada, however John has retired from mining. He developed Silicosis and it has been a bit scarry these past few years. He is very limited to his activities which has been a major adjustment for him. I am teaching fifth grade this year after teaching fourth for the past five. I have also switched to the other elementary school in our community which has been an adjustment for me, but am loving it. My class is wonderful! My two youngest daughters ...Expand for more
are both married to miners and live just minutes away from me. How lucky is that? My older two children still live in Boise, Idaho so are only four hours away. Life is good, but the years have sure flown by. John and I have eight grandkids and our oldest is at Carroll College in Montana where he got a basketball scholarship. I still love all of the sports. LOL Guess we never outgrow it. I completed my Masters in Reading and Literacy so feel as though I have accomplished what I set out to do.
