Sherry's Story
Life
I live in Richfield, Utah, about 180 miles south of Salt Lake City. We lovingly refer to our area as the "Central Void" of the state. The folks in metropolitan Salt Lake area think the state ends at Provo. My husband and I have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. All our kids are over 18, but, although they have been eager to leave the nest, they keep coming back! I work for the Sevier School District as an Instructional Assistant and teach severely disabled elementary students.I had worked at the Elisabeth Ludeman Center for Disabilities in Park Forest as a Mental Health Tech before we moved out here, and really loved the work. I have returned to school and am going to get my Associate's degree while I can still make it to the podium un-assisted! (*Only 2 more General Ed requirements and I'm finished!)
