Life OK, here goes my life story...... I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, moved to Houston in 1956 and to Pasadena in 1965. I attended Pasadena schools, graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and received an AS in Bank & Finance Management from San Jacinto College. I graduated from the Texas Bankers Assoc. Lenders School at University of Texas, Austin. I hold a General Lines Agent License qualifying in Life, Accident & Health, and Property and Casualty insurance, and also hold a Series 6 license. I started my banking career in 1972 with First Pasadena State Bank. After a short time as a drive-in teller, moved to the note department and began a 30+ year career in the lending field. With FPSB I experienced many changes, survived several mergers and name changes, and held various positions including Credit Manager, Loan Department Manager and Loan Officer. In 1998, after my position as a business development officer with Bank One was eliminated, I accepted a position with First Community Bank Pasadena as a Commercial Lending Officer. In 2005, after a merger with Wells Fargo Bank, I decided I wanted to stay in with an independent community bank and accepted a position as Vice President with 1st Choice Bank in So...Expand for more
