Sherry's Story
I GOT MARRIED RIGHT OUT OF SCHOOL. I BRIEFLY MOVED TO DALLAS AS A NEWLYWED BUT MISSED MY FRIENDS,FAMILY AND DOG TOO MUCH SO MOVED BACK TO BURIEN AFTER 5 MONTHS. I HAVE 2 ADULT KIDS, BYRON WHO IS 29 YEARS OLD AND SCOTT WHO IS 27 YEARS OLD. BYRON HAS BEEN MARRIED FOR 9 YEARS TO MICHEALA AND HAVE 2 BOYS. BYRON WORKS WITH ME AT THE ISSAQUAH COSTCO AND SCOTT WORKS FOR HORIZON AIRLINES AS A A&P MECHANIC SO I AM HIS DEPENDENT AND FLY FREE ANYWHERE. WHICH I DO ALOT! I LOVE TO TRAVEL AND TAKE BREAKS FROM MY VACATIONS. LOVE ANYWHERE THERE IS A BEACH WITH BEAUTIFUL WARM TORQUISE WATER. BYRON AND MICHAELA HAD MY WONDERFUL GRANDKIDS.DYLAN IS 10 YEARS OLD AND CONNOR IS 8 YEARS OLD. I LOVE MY GRANDKIDS AND LOVE TO TRAVEL WITH THEM. THEY LOVE TO CRUISE AND GO TO THE BEACH IN FLORIDA. MY MOM PASSED AWAY IN 2004. MY DAD JUST TURNED 80 YEARS OLD AND GOING STRONG. MY 2 BROTHERS KEVIN AND GREG LIVE TOGETHER AND LIVE IN BURIEN. WE HAVE A TOTAL OF 10 IN OUR FAMILY. IT IS SMALL BUT WE DO ALOT TOGETHER. WE LOVE TO MOTORHOME,RIDE DIRT BIKES. OLDER WE GET THE MORE FRAGILE WE ARE. I STAY BUSY WITH FAMILY., I HAVE BEEN MARRIED 30 YEARS IN JUNE. I LOVE TO RIDE MY STREET BIKE AND STAY YOUNG AT HEART. WELL, THERES MORE BUT THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT UP.
Fast forward 4 years, it's now 2013. My Dad passed away in Dec 2008, a week after I retired from Costco after 23 1/2 years. My son Scott is now working at Boeing. My grand kids are now 15 yrs old and 12 years old. Time flies by real fast. I still travel and in June we are selling our house and moving temporarily into the motorhome. We are going to travel for awhile and decide where we want to live. We're thinking San Diego or somewhere with a beach. I love to ply contests on the radio and want to continue that, I have done that since 1984 and may write a book about winning contests on the radio. Won trips all over the world, jewelry, money, CDs, quads, you name it, I have probably won it at some time. Have been married now going on 34 years so I have my travel partner.
