Life I traveled around a lot as a kid because my dad was in the Navy, so I went to a different school every year from 6th grade through Graduation. Needless to say, I lost track of a lot of friends over the years and was hoping this Web Site might bring back some memories. I have lived in Houston, Texas for the past 37 years after moving here from Memphis, Tennessee in 1981. I worked for "The Phone Company" since 1973, and retired from there after 30 years. I have been married to my second & last husband, Jesse, for 34 years and I thank God for him every day. In October of '06 I got asked to work part time for Ceil Tex Inc - a company that is growing in the Houston area and since then we have gone from one crew to 5 and are expanding to other parts of Texas, Louisiana, and even have one nationwide contract. We don't just clean ceiling tiles anymore, we do installation and remodeling, too. The growth is phenomenal and I hope our labor department can keep up with the sales department (I was the Vice President of Sales when introduced). It was all rather exciting even though I am still semi-retired. I Went with a "Spin-off" company in '07 from Ceil Tex to New Ceiling Tiles, LLC. That put me in the supply aspect of the ceiling business. We sold WATER PROOF Ceiling Tiles and Rust Proof Grid. It's all made of pure PVC so it'll never stain, sag, or grow mold. It costs more to install it initially, but it should never have to be replaced, so there is great return on investment. They want to sell it to everyone in the world and put themselves out of business. They like to say, "One install, does it all!"...Expand for more
