Shery's Story
Life
I teach high school in California, now. Have often thought of going back to Levittown to see if any of you are still around. Haven't been back to New York since we left in 1959. We lived in Japan for two years. Loved it! I finished high school here in Sacramento, California. Then went to college, locally.
I'd love to hear from any of you, if you remember me at all. It's been a long time.
I have a daughter. I own my own home.
I remember some of your names. I have old class pictures from the Fifties. I looked so funny!

ech Movement was in full swing during the glorious 60s. I loved the 60s!!! Those of you who missed the 60s, really missed out! I wasn't really a hippie, I was serious about college. But I DID have fun!
Workplace
I have been teaching for more than 26 years, now. Mostly 7th and 8th grade. I teach high school, now. Got really tired of junior high schoolers. I "retired" to leave a school with a really toxic atmosphere. I like my current school very much. So glad I left the old school!
Military
Sorry. No military service. When I was in college, the guys were all getting drafted to go to Viet Nam. We were VERY anti-war. I would probably have gone to Canada, or jail, before I would have gone to Nam. Lucky for me, I didn't have to make the choice.
