Sheryl's Story
Life
After high school I joined the Navy where I met my husband, Frank Scrivener. We have been married since 1966 and have two children, Frank III and Elizabeth (Beth). Both of our children and married and we have 4 grandsons. I was discharged from the Navy in 1967 went onto college where I received a BA degree in social work. ern suburbs of Chicago, IL. Frank retired from the Navy in 1990 after 26 years and we decided to remain in Illinois. The Navy offered us the opportunity to live in Sicily, Japan and Guam as well as Texas, Kansas, Maryland, Virgina, and Illinois. The only person I have kept in contact with since graduation is Marie Willig. Our paths crossed in 1980 when our husbands were both stationed at the same hospital in Yokosuka, Japan.
