Life Life is always busy for my husband Vince an I ... with our daughter Angela now in college, and working full time... life just is a whirl wind adventure. Vince and I have been married since May 1989. We had a major scare in 1996 when Vince's kidneys unexpectantly failed. He was in total kindney failure at 30 years old. I'll tell you that experience alone opened our eyes to the way we see life. Never take anything or anyone for granted. We got an education that wasn't necessarily wanted at that time. None the less, we made it through and take each day now to the fullest. Vince was very very fortunate to get a kidney from his brother so it was a perfect match. AMEN!! You are never out of the woods with a transplant, but life does go on. Right after the transplant ( 3months) , my father ended up with a brain tumor ( unoperable) here we go again... another education we didn't really want to have. After a 13 month battle my father lost his life( 64 yrs old) to that nasty disease... Then... another set back. Dec 2008... Vince's went in to kidney failure again... after 12 years... was very scary... I almost lost him.
