Sheryl's Story
After high school, I went to school at NEO A & M College and graduated with an AA degree. Three weeks later I lost my dad tragically from cancer.
I have lived in the State of Michigan for the past twenty years. I moved here with my mom so she could be near her family.
I made the decision to take a year off from school and establish an in-state residency.
I went to Eastern Michigan University for 2 1/2 years because my credits would not transfer I was told that I would have to go another three years and left school to never return.
So, I decided not to pursue my dream to be a television journalist. I got the taste of new found freedom and decided to go into a different direction. I started a career in...Expand for more
retail and even went as far as being a manager. But, those long hours do not do a single girl justice (at the time). Nine years ago, I decided to make a career change to banking and it was the smartest decision that I ever made. I started at the entry level as a teller, then moving to the loan department and currently being promoted to a loan processor. I never did meet the man of my dreams in Oklahoma. But, I finally did meet Mr. Right and yes I asked my future husband out! We both worked at a retail store in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Randy and I are very happy and we have been married since 6/18/05. We live in a cute ranch style house with my precious dog, Maxey, a cocker spaniel. We have no children.
