Shirley's Story

This is the story of my life after graduation. God has blessed me with a full and happy life, one that I never in my wildest dreams thought would be so interesting. After graduation I joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. After basic training the Air Force decided that I should spend the rest of my enlistment at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Washington. There I worked at the chaplin's office and also in records both doing clerical work. I met alot of wonderful people and still keep in touch with some of them. rs so far), David Brendel from White Lake, where we reside yet today. We have four children and nine wonderful grandchildren whom we are very proud of. David and I have done a lot of traveling in our 54 years, we have been to all 52 states (some more than once) most of the Canadian Provences , Europe twice, the Soviet Union, and down to Mexico all the way to the Panama Canal. Most of our travels have been by pulling our AirStream Travel Trailer with the exception of Europe, Russia, and Hawaii. So many stories about each country that we have traveled to and so little space to tell you about all of them here. Life is good as long as you look at the wonders around you.
