Shirley's Story

Life After graduating from Virginia State College, I married my High School sweetheart. He was in the Air Force so we moved about a lot. I worked in Social Work in Peaks, VA; Fresno, CA; Clovis,NM;and San Jose,CA before moving to Japan where we lived for five years. one girl). When we returned to the states, we were stationed at Andrews AFB. WE settled in this area where I worked as a Social Worker until retiring in 1995. My husband retired after 20yrs in the AF and worked in the Federal Gov. until he retired from there. We are both enjoying retirement and ten wonderful grandchildren.
