Psalm 121:1,2 My God will meet all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 I am a Senior Citizen married to a wonderful guy for 46 years. We have had a very "HAPPY MARRIAGE" and hope to celebrate many more anniversaries on earth. We are in agreement that if we had to do it all over again we would. We are very blessed and we have 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy), 13 grandchildren including 2 other girls I consider my grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren (5 girls and 15 boys plus one little one due in June) Del and I enjoy our families very much and after 46 years we are still in love with each other and more than when we were first married. We both love and serve the Lord. God has been very active in our lives...in October 1981 Del was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors removed over half of his stomach doing sectional testing as they went. When they realized the cancer had spread further the closed him up and came out and told me that he had 6 months to a year to live....it was very traumatic to hear. I ph...Expand for more
oned my mother in Idaho at the time to put Del on the prayer chain and to please pray for a healing. She was in charge of a shelter for mentally disturbed people and not only was her church's prayer chain praying for a healing but the 6 or 7 clients in the shelter was praying for him. The day that he was to be discharged home the doctor came in and told him the good news that the cancer was gone. We were blessed by having a Christian doctor and he thoroughly agreed that it was God who did the healing. Del was not a Christian at the time he had cancer but knowing about all the people that had been praying for him he could easily say it was God and soon after he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. God also gave him a healing in 1991 when he had a massive stroke on our way home from my mom's in Washington. We had our three grandchildren with us and we stopped at the Great Western Motel in Ashland when he had the stroke. Since he was a Firefighter he knew what was happening and he told me to call the ambulance which I did and they came out and took him to the Rogue Hospital in Medford. The doctor said he would never walk again, etc. He told the doctor that he served a God that would heal him and that he wanted to go home. The doctor told him when he could walk out of the hospital and also feed himself and take showers he would be allowed to go home. By the seventh day he walked out of the hospital using a walker and climbed into the motor home that a Fireman had sent up with two other Firemen friends to drive him home. A few months after being home and doing his own PT at home he put his cane on the alter and has been walking good ever since. We praise God for Del's healings and that He does for us every day.".
