Well after high school I attended Wilburton College for about a year, left there moved to Kansas. Had a son named Phillip, who died suddenly in 1998 of diabetes. Married in 1972, had a son named David in 1974. I went to Kiamichi Vo-Tech for a year in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. David's father was killed in 1981 by a so-called friend in what was considered an accident. I remarried in 1986. Divorced in 1989. Was living in Phoenix, Az. Moved back to McAlester in 1990. Stayed there till 1994, taking care of elderly Mom. Met my husband, Lorenzo, in June 1994, married in October 1994. Moved to Duncan in 1995, bringing with us my Mom, who died in 2000. My husband worked for Tinker AFB in OKC until he retired in 2005. We have been here every since. I went to Art School and am now an artist. Went to Business school, worked 4 years as secretary. 2 years at Red River Vo-tech. 2 years at Oklahoma Employment Office. I am now working as homecare provider and love my job. I feel like I am making the difference in these elderly people having to go into a nursing home. I have been doing this type of work for about 12 ye...Expand for more
