Shirley's Story
I got married while in Hgh School. That lated 1 year, so I got divorced. My second husband was abusive, so I left him & got divorced. That was final in 1990. After my 1st divorce I came back to the San Francisco Bay Area where I'm originlly from. I live a city called Vallejo, which is about 30 miles NE of SF. I am buying a house & have lived here for 13 years. I started drinking right out of HS & got sober in 1990. I have worked for AT&T for 29 years. serves. I stayed in for 13 years. I got out because I had bought the house & had my cats & dogs. I could not take the risk of getting called up for a year and leacing my friend to do all the work. I was in during Desert Storm. I'm so glad I got out when I did knowing what is happening now. I'm single & have been for several years. I did date someone after my ex-husband but that didn't work either. oh well. I still have my animals. That is pretty much what life is around here in the San Francsco Bay Area.
