Shirley's Story

I am a widow and live up north and love it. Met many new friends up here in the woods. Volunteer at the Lions and Moose Lodges. Keep as busy as I want to. Go down to the city very few times a year, and am anxious to get back up here to the peace and quiet. My brother, Mike, lives a short ways from me at Houghton Lake, and we see each other often.The winter...Expand for more
s do not bother me, and I do not go south. Once in awhile for a quick visit to a few friends or brother, Bobs in Bonita Springs. I was married to my husband for 48 years when he died from Leukemia, and will probably never marry again. I am content with my life and my son and grandchildren, and would just compare other men to my husband which would never work.
