Shirley's Story
I worked 29 years at Firestone and retired effective Nov. 1, 1999. I was a production scheduler for numerous years and became manager of the production scheduling, customer service and shipping areas. I enjoyed working on new and more efficient means of warehousing, shipping and the process. also worked on implementation of a computer program to transform from paper processing of packing and pulling orders to packing and locating product in the warehouse via computers and scanning the product through our area.
I travel three to four times per year to different areas of the country and own a timeshare in Branson where I spend a lot of time.
I enjoy fishing, traveling, family reunions and especially church.
