On July 1, 1955, I married Gordon Smith. We had 5 children, the 5th one a big surprise 7 years after the 4h one. We left Indiana in 1959 and moved to Zephyrhills, FL. He ws transferred to Punta Gorda 6 months later where we lived for about 11 years. A few years after the transfer, we started buying a piece of property in Nobleton Florida. Its is west of Bushnell about 10 miles. A very small community. the withlacoochee river runs through there so al the kids loved it. They could swim in the river going in at the dock behind the little general store. they often jumped off the bridge for fun. A stunit I didn't hear about for years. .We were divorced in 1980. In 1981 I met my next husband to be Hank Buurma. We were married 6 years later and stayed married to each other until he died in 2002. After the 4 hurricanes hit us in Orlando, my doublewide was pretty much done for. I decided to leave Orlando and go to Bartow to stay with my daughter until I found a place to buy.
