Shirley's Story
Hard to believe it's been 30 years already. I'm planning on attending the reunion this year. It will be fun to see what everyone looks like and what they have been up to.
I moved to Duquesne, PA straight from High School to move in with my grandmother and help take care of her. Got married when I was 21 to my first husband and moved to North Versailles, PA. I was married 17 yrs and had 2 beautiful girls. Got divorced and raised them for 7 years on my own and devoted my life to them. I am a medical secretary and worked for UPMC for a long time. is now 24 and getting married in September of this year. She is a nursing assistant and going to school to be a nurse. Amanda is 20 and also a nursing assistant. They are the best thing that come out of my marriage, couldn't imagine my world without them. The 3 of us are like best friends.
I have done some travelling. I've been to Hawaii (where I parasailed), New Orleans, Cozumel, Cayman Islands in the Caribbean and took my youngest to Riviera Maya in Mexico for her graduation present.
