Life has been interesting for me. I got married at 19 to my high school sweetheart. We are still married. We have two sons and two grandchildren. We have worked hard, but we are living the American dream - at least we are some days. We own multiple businesses, none of them alike. All of them reasonably successful. I have worked in sales, finance, public service, accounting and ALL the businesses. We have a gorgeous small ranch (emphasis on the small) on which we raise a few black angus cows, some peacocks, chickens, turkeys, donkeys, a dog and a cat. Our sons live on either side of us and work with us in one of the businesses. There has been heartache along the way. One of our sons has enormous medical problems that are a challenge for him and us. He is very upbeat in spite of all he has endured. God has been merciful and we are grateful for what we have been given. He is a beautiful gift, as is his brother and my two precious grandchildren. I write poetry and have had some of it published. It is a joy to me that others read and seem to like what I have written. I posted a few of them on my bulletin board and you are welcome to read them if you like. My husband delights in old cars and trucks, so we have some interesting vehicles ie, a '59 and a '62 Willys Jeep truck and a Mighty Mite, as well as a '67 Corvette. Also a couple of 60's scooters. One of the businesses that we have owned involved restoring old Corvettes.
