Shirley's Story
Life
It has been 26 years since graduation and alot has happened since then. I married in June of 1982 to a wonderful man and father. We were married 18 years and raised his two very young daughters. The Lord blessed me with a good husband and two daughters. I couldnot have children and he made my dream come true, being a mother. With the love and support of my husband, I over came the memories of a abused child and am now trying to help others survive the memories of their abuse.

e for a while to get my degree in social work, so I could help others become a survivors of abuse. I had to drop out for health reasons and at this time. I am disabled and now live with my deceased husband's brother and wife. They have been a large support in my life since losing my husband.
My daughters are grown and I don't get to see them much. I have two beautiful granddaughters.
My companion these days is my little yorkie name Sweetie. She is so sweet and I would be lost without her.
