For the last 16 years I've been doing pretty much what everyone else has been doing. Redefining who I thought i was, and deciding who I want to be & discovering who I really am. Confused. Welcome back to the club. Life happens, you just kind of roll with it and do the best that you can. High School successes & failures seem so far away... despite that elusive recurring nightmare that I'm flunking Mrs. Wards math class, I haven't been to basketball practice in a month (not really sure I'm still on the team) and I'm not sure what my locker combination is. Stop laughing. I was NOT like that then, but if I had to do it these days... I pray that isn't a prediction or premotition of what I have to look forward to in the near future... I did give birth to a daughter who bears a striking resemblance to the girl I used to be. Let's get down to it. I'm about 30 pounds overweight, overworked, sleep deprived, cosemetically neglected & yet my husband still speaks to me cordially & even occassionaly proves he still likes me.
