Shonna's Story
I grew up in Selma like many of my classmates. I graduated from Selma High School in 1974. Went to Reedley College then got a job in Fresno. I worked at the IRS in Fresno for 17 1/2 years. Then I got married at 33 years of age. I had my first born when I was 34 years old! I then got pregnant again when I was 38 years old! My son is 21 years old and my daughter is 17. Sometimes I wish that I had started having children at a younger age but you know how that goes. I don't know when I will ever be a grandmother, but my kids are still young and they have plenty of time to meet the right one and get married. My family and I moved here to Indianapolis, IN. three years ago and do not regret it. My husband and I work for the Department Of Defense here in Indianapolis. Well thats my story for now. I always wanted to be a Singer when I grew up.
I like to relax by doing gardening or just going out to dinner and seeing a movie.
I enjoy watching sports like football, baseball, gymnastics, competitive swimming, etc.

I'd remodel my home and add on a extra bedroom. My dream home would be 4 bedroom, 3 bath. I would also like a built in swimming pool in the back yard.
I have learned that they are individuals and that they are not the same. Also to have patience and respect them.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10,000 dollars of it to Food for the Hungry, 10,000 to Feed The Children and put 25,000 dollars into my childrens savings accounts.
My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age would be old and tired. I was so completely wrong!.
I want to go back to College and get a degree.
My best friend would tell you I'm a nice person, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as mean .
Yes, unforunately I do still dress like I did 10 years ago.
I share my home with my husband and my 21 year old son and 17 year old daughter. Its OK for now.
In 5 years, I hope to be a College Graduate. I'm going to get there by a lot of hard work and dedication.
My first job was at Snow White Drive in Kingsburg where I got paid 3.50 to 3.75. What I remember most about it was very hard work.
I always had alot of fun at my Grandparents house. I would always feel loved and happy when I was there with them.
