Shonna's Story
Life
My spouse and I met through friends in Tulsa in 1991.
I teach 6th grade Language Arts and 7th/8th grade Speech/Drama I & II at Okmulgee Middle School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, which is 30 minutes south of Tulsa.

took over the Speech & Drama department at the middle school where I teach and why I continue to write news articles periodically for our local newspaper.
I'll never forget the Halloween party Mrs. Harrod held at her house for the entire newspaper staff. The theme was "Best Dream or Worst Nightmare". Michelle Culpepper and I went as punk rockers! And Kristi Sims went barefoot and pregnant! It was definitely a night to remember! :)
