Life After graduation from Westwood, I went to college for two years then moved to Europe (Paris, Brussels) for a year. When I returned to the US, I went to San Francisco, where I began playing guitar and singing in rock bands. After finally finishing my degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and Chemistry at San Francisco State University in 1991, I went to Oregon for medical school. After my residency in anesthesia at the University of California San Francisco ended in June of 1999, I moved to Boston for a one-year pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston.
