Life
After graduation, I worked for a year in Nashville, then joined the Air Force. I was stationed in Misawa, Japan for 18 months, then went to San Antonio, Texas until I got out in August 1977. Just prior to getting out, I married. Unfortunately, our marriage only lasted 5 years, but I did have a wonderful daughter, Briana, who was born in Okinawa, Japan. I spent 2 years in the Air Force Reserves, attended ASU, and then got a job with the US Postal Service. I have been with the USPS for over 20 years, 10 of which has been in the Personnel Office in Phoenix. Briana is grown, and blessed me with 3 grandchildren: Amilinn, Cameron, and Peyton. Peyton passed away 2 years ago when he was only 7-1/2 months old. We miss him very much. Cameron turned 4 in May (he was my Mother's Day present in 2000), and Amilinn will be 8 this August.
