Diana Smith's Story
After I left the Philippines in 75, I went with my family to live in Bakersfield, California. The family hated it there and we went back to Boulder Colorado in 77, where I originally came from. I had attended Bakersfield Jr College majoring in Music and did not go back to college until later in my 30's. I hung around Boulder until I entered the Military service in Oct 79 enlisted in the Military Police Corps (army). Served stateside where I met and married John Nichols lived in Germany the rest of my tour. We divorced in 83, I finished my committment to the Army and worked for the NRC at a nuclear site in Colorado for a few years then went to college in California at Santa Barbara Business College and graduated there with a diploma. l. When he passed away in 94 I worked in different tourism related businesses and in 2003 started as a financial service advisor for JP Morgan Chase. I now live in Ozark Missouri. Never did have any children, but my best friend and her husband have three boys that call me "Nana" They are the delight of my life. I get to enjoy the Branson area and its many attractions and visit Dallas often to see my sister. Fly to Denver to visit another a few times a year and have a brother in Houston.
So many people I would like to touch base with that I just cant mention all of them. But, Jill Walker, Shirley Geisler, Francis Smith, Kim Rabon, Sandy Polumbo, if you read this please get a message to me and lets share a laugh and trade stories. We are all getting older, so just do it. LOL.
