Sofia's Story
Hello my name is Sofia Roberts (Martinez),
I was a graduate of class of 1963., I was in the band playing bells, and oboe. I tried to learn to play sax, drums, and piano, but I only learned just
enough to get by.

nosis. After getting my certificate I joined the Navy. I went to Bainbridge,Md.,then to the U.S.Naval Hospital at Great Lakes,Ill.,and learned a little bit of nursing. I was stationed at Jacksonville Hospital,where I met my Husband. I got to do more traveling, had three children was a teacher, a church counselor and a caregiver. My joy today is being a grandmother to my six grandchildren. I currently live in Tampa,Fla. I have three children , Two are Techs and one is an English Teacher.
