Solomon's Story

Howdy fellow Indians! Apparently this will be one of the few bios posted from the class of '88. Maybe it will encourage others to tell us what's been up for the past 18(!?) years. So here goes my adult life abridged: Graduated from SUNY Albany in 1992, was accepted into the MBA program there and completed one year but then dropped out to become a professional snowboarder and moved to Lake Tahoe with some fellow instructors from Belleayre. Among them was Sean "Moose" Johnson, who still lives out here and is pretty much the only classmate I've remained in contact with. around the world. It was totally radical! Fortunately, I still get to travel and ride a ton since I continue to work in the industry as a team manager for Adidas Eyewear. A recent highlight was this past February going to Italy for the Olympics. 3 of my teamriders were US Olympic athletes. The job that pays the bills, though, my "adult" job, is managing food & beverage operations at a private golf club here in Truckee, CA. I'm happily married to my beautiful wife Chevonne, we have a son named Keenan and life is good. I hope you are all well and look forward to hearing from my old friends. Take care, Solomon
