Sonia's Story
After many years in the private sector in the advertising sales business, I am now in academia. I am a Development Officer at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York. My work involves: raising corporate funds for the Educational Foundation, which provides scholarships for students, communications and public realtions. This is my most professionally rewarding moment...my calling. (Those corporate years at the Bereau of National Affairs, WABC TV, Black Enterprise Magazine, New York Daily News, WBLS Radio, WFAN Sports Radio have prepared me for my calling.) Finally, work is love!

rly (Miss Finance, we're so professionally drifferent- she hates PR and I hate Finance ha!) Kim and her husband have 3 wonderful children! Lovely Yazmin (17) is a nationally ranked sprinter (6th in US with Olympics goal), National Honor Society (recruited by top US universities). Her brother Sharif (14) is an original. He gets his good looks from me, and has my creative DNA. Says he wants to be a doctor or math teacher. Little sis Laila (3) thinks she's the boss!
I'll be back on the tennis court as soon as my knee gets berrer!
