Life Life is what you make it...so right now, life is GREAT. I have overcome many challenges and had made many accomplishments. I still have not yet achieved all my goals and aspirations....it's a work in progress. I grew up in Compton and 2 years after high school, I moved on my own to Pomona. After starting a family, I later went back to school and earned my BA degree, returned again to get a teaching credential and then earned my MA degree in Education. I am now living in the Inland Empire. I have been married for 17 years to Ron. I raised 5 children (2 step (Shaney and Anthony) and 3 biological - Yasmeen 18, Ronni 16 and Mistic 13. I am a Special Education Teacher working with students in grades (K-5) with various disabilities. School I attended Our Lady of Victory Elementary, Pius X and Compton Senior High..C/O '88 I learned alot in school....not all academic. If I had to do it all over again, would I??? Hell No! It was not a pleasant experience coming from a private school all my life and then attending a public school. I became street smart... a little hood and Ghetto at heart!
