Sonya's Story
College:
Graduated from Scottsdale Community College with my Associate of Arts, and from Arizona State University with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Rhetorical and Interpersonal Communication; I minored in Religious Studies with an emphasis on Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Received my Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher and Postsecondary Education - Leadership pathway - from Arizona State University.
Workplace:
Employed with Arizona State University since 1995. Development Officer - fundraiser, alumni relations, community relations, and stewardship in the School of Earth and Space Exploration.
Family:

funny, loving human beings who happen to be my kids, my best friend and husband of 30 years. Five dogs, a cat, and a whole lot of Arizona wild life in my back yard.
Things I like to do for fun:
I work in the yard, go to cafes, visit really old towns in Arizona and spend hours in the museums. I love to discuss religion, politics, and money (all faux pas subjects). I visited Florida not that long ago, and I loved visiting the city of Miami on my own with no purpose. It was the most fun I have had in a long while.
Things I want to do before I die:
Retire.
