What was your biggest accomplishment? Successfully reaching most of my goals. When I was 18 a computer company I worked for made me write down my goals. I wrote down some crazy things for an 18 year old such as travel to Europe, Bermuda, Bahama's etc. Years later I found that piece of paper and now understand the power in writing goals down.
Have you changed over time? Yes, just as all my classmates have I am sure. The wisdom and peace that comes with time is comforting. I realise the value of helping others meet their goals and dreams. My outlook on life has changed dramatically since highschool.
What's happened in your life that's been a complete surprise? Traveling to great desti...Expand for more
nations (Monaco, Bermuda, Norway, Germany, Austria, Italy, Bahamas, Switzerland, Hawaii, Vegas, California, Colorado, Australia, New Zealand). Living in the DC metro area... Our senior trip was in DC, I never imagined I would end up living and working in this area. Volunteering has become a big part of my life also. I work with at risk youth and am a volunteer Sheriff in my county.
Workplace
I've had several jobs until settling into my current career. I was a waitress, limo driver, dairy farm hand, cashier, laundry aid, cook, restaurant mngr, and baker. My current focus has been in the IT Federal Sector for the government. My previous assignment included supporting biometric technology and was very interesting. Currently I work for the federal sector for our government and sometimes have rather interesting assignments.
