Life
It's official! I am now a RealNurse. I have been working in the emergency room since I graduated and I must say I really like my job. I was asked the other night how long did it take to get through nursing school, I told them I graduated high school in 1980 and collage in 2005 so for me it took 25 years. Seriously though, I was 22 when I started having children and went to college when my youngest started school 18 years later so technically I am only 25years old. Life is fun, have a blast and do your best to make people laugh even if they can only laugh at you!
After graduation I hung out around Everett for about a year. One night some friends and I were partying and we decided to move to California. We put the names of five cities in a hat, Newport, Long Beach, San Diego, Corona, and ...Expand for more
Palm Springs. Someone pulled out Palm Springs and we packed up and moved the next day. I lived there for a couple of years, worked in the Teton National Park one summer then went back to Palm Springs. I met my husband when I was a bartender, we lived in a cave for awhile, moved to town when our first baby was due. Two kids later we went to South Carolina to visit his family. Five kids and 17 years later we are still here. If you have been keeping up with the math, that's a total of eight kids. When the youngest went to school two years ago so did I. I graduate December 05. I will be an RN when I grow up.
11/2/05
I officially grow up in 1 month, 12 days, and 23 hours. I have 1 test, 2 finals, and one licensing exam to pass and then I will be an RN!!!!!! Watch out world, here I come!!!!!!!!!!
