My Pets
I have two bearded dragons named Tumo and Nigel. They're not very cuddly, but they're pretty cool to watch...especially when they go into their mating rituals! Nigel thinks I'm his "woman" and he can dominate me...I just realized that he might be right ;) Over the years, I've also opened my home to many assorted members of the rodent family. I have a rodent graveyard in my backyard, and I'm getting to be quite the expert at conducting funerals for hamsters.
My Kids
I have two beautiful daughters named Katie and Maggie. They are the light of my life, and I don't know what I would do without them. It's hard to believe that I brought these tw...Expand for more
o amazing people into the world. The only downside is watching them do things like start middle school! They're going to be heading off to college in the blink of an eye.
I also have a wonderful step son who is teaching my daughters about boy stuff, like how to wrestle. Having a "suddenly" son has been a tremendous learning experience, after just being three women for so long.
Life is never boring!
My Job
I teach 7th grade students (hormones with feet!) with learning disabilities. I've been teaching for the last fourteen years, and I have truly found my calling, even if my checkbook suffers. Teaching keeps me on my toes and is NEVER, ever dull! =)
