Stacie's Story
I graduated from high school expecting to pursue a career in theatre. Then I graduated from college and got engaged right away and directions changed. I went back for an additional semester for more marketable job skills. By the time the engagement fell through I had begun my career in office work.
I eventually ended up at the Beaumont Country Club first as a receptionist, then as the Event Coordinator for most of the ten years I was there.
I nearly died in December 2007 due to a freak illness that meant 3 1/2 months in the hospital including physical therapy to be able to walk again. I am truly a miracle and look forward to what God has in store for my life.

been to Mexico once and to Russia in 1998 with a group that eventually became the foundation called Treasures of the Heart, which has gone on to help many, many Russian orphans in the years since that trip in '98 including remodeling dorm facilities, building new beds, new kitchen equipment, new kitchen floor, a tractor, and seeds and livestock.
I am still hoping to return to Russia someday to see the changes for myself. I also went to Scotland with my youth group in 1984, and would love to go back there again.
I don't have any kids of my own, but I enjoy my nephew Walter IV, who just turned 9 in June 2008, and my neices, Grace (7) and Ann Marie (4 1/2). They truly fascinate me sometimes.
