Stacie's Story
Life
Hi Everyone!
I hope life is as good in your world as mine.
Our family has had a life style change. We moved out of the BIG CITY to a small town. We love it. It feels more like home. Well I say Home-the home as we knew it. When I travel to Florence I can't figure out who all those people are and where they came from. I never see anyone I know, well let's say that, I remember. Are you having this same experience? It doesn't help that the paper has a least two or three people you knew. It's diconcerting that they are in the Obituary section. I attend at least one funeral each time I go home.
I have recently had a career change and am loving it. After many years in the HCA family We are still on the lake which is so beautiful but No MORE GEESE. If you don't understand that then you have NEVER lived on the lake in TN.
I have joined the staff at our small local hospital in Gallatin and it is fabulous! It is just like living back in Florence. You get to know everyone and they know you. On Sundays after church the cafeteria is full of the locals having Sunday dinner. Like Starkeys.

ith the PICC team. That for the lay people, is placing central lines for infusions. I began to insert these lines in 1990 when they first began using them and did teaching with the anesthesia groups. But as they say "you've come a long way baby" it is now quite a proceedure. I really have found my calling.
For those of you who know me well:
"PICCing on others".
The family and I are all aging just not at the same rate, imagine that????
I can't believe that my daughter is going off to college next year. A third generation nurse.
Life remains a blast a Senior and a first grader!
Who ever knew that all those boys were someones baby. With that said, having had a boy, I have grown to understand more than I care to know about the MALE species.
Just know this ladies! God gave little boys MOMMIES so that when the grow up to be jerks will always love them in spite of themselves.
I am in love with my kids I never knew little imitations of me could be so great. They are the best parts of who I always strived to be.
Wishing all the blessing life throws!! I hope your life is turning out to be all your could ever ask for.
